'The Moon is Following Us' Also, noted Northwest author Mary Lou Sanelli will discuss her latest book at the Edmonds Bookshop. Local author and illustrator publish kids' book 'The Moon is Following Us,' a new book co-authored by Everett resident Patrick Foley and illustrated by Monroe resident Julia Chamness, has been published. The book's co-author is Ruth Hargiss of Costa Mesa, California, who is Chamness' sister. In the book, a girl named Sam discovers, on her way to Grandma's house one Halloween night, that the Moon is following her whenever she looks to the night sky.
