EDMOND – The Edmond History Museum has launched 'Trees in Our Town' showcasing award-winning art created by fifth graders from Edmond schools. The annual Arbor Day Art Show will run through April 29. According to a release, the Edmond Urban Forestry Department administers the show annually as part of its Oklahoma Arbor Week celebration. Participating students depict trees through drawings and paintings. First through third place and honorable mention winners from each school are displayed. The Edmond Visual Arts Commission selected the three top 'Best of Show' winners, and the museum selected other pieces for honors.
